The "Stairway To Heaven" is the popular name for the Haiku stairs near Kaneohe, Oahu Hawaii. The top isn't often seen as there are usually clouds around the peaks of the mountains. There are a set of stairs that people still do occasionally climb, although doing so is illegal and relatively harsh penalties are often times handed out, after a mandatory visit to the Honolulu County "Hilton". This is a beautiful a lightly visited location, as it requires scaling a couple hundred foot of large lava rocks. The lava rock deterrent is enough to preserve the serenity this spectacular location. If only this beach and lava tube could tell stories, it would have many facinating ones to tell. A couple famous visitors to this location include Elvis and Priscilla Presley, who reportedly loved this site.
